"Family ... Tradition ... Revenge

After the death of her father, and the murder of her mother, a young woman finds herself at the head of her family, unsure of who to trust. Inspired by the Greek Myths surrounding the Trojan War, 'Revenge' is a story that brings the thrill and drama of a mobster film, through the eyes of female a protagonist and antagonist.

'Revenge' follows two extremely independent and strong women who have risen through the ranks within their very influential families. These women are rich and complex, both loving and cruel and desire nothing more than to protect the honor and dignity to their family names.  Stories such as these are not often told through the female gaze, but rather through the experience on the tough mob boss male archetype. We want, as storytellers to challenge that image, and to expand the world of the female character, and create more opportunities of characters like this to exist."

I'm excited to be involved in bringing this story to life and explore the challenging histories of Greek Tragedy and the American Mob Wars. This is a story dear to me, having written it with great sensitivity to the time and place in which honor and family can override the morals of "justice."
